The creation process starts with the mood board, followed by direct communication between the ONE PALACE design team and the client to finalize the artwork. The design is then printed onto a cloth, stretched tight on a vertical frame, while the raw materials are dyed. Using a special tufting gun, tufts of wool, silk, or bamboo are injected into the cloth to form the pattern. The tufting gun, equipped with scissors, determines the pile height. After tufting, a latex backing is added for reinforcement. Finally, the rug is sheared to the perfect height and hand-carved or penciled to enhance the design. Every rug undergoes a strict quality check by the production manager and designer to ensure it meets the high standards of ONE PALACE.
